This is really awesome! This scene reminds me of "sentinels" keeping watch over what is below - of time and of history. I have just started with a series from "settlement" cemeteries here in Wisconsin. As I look for stones and vistas to photograph, I realize that each has their own story to tell - some rejoicing and others with sadness.
